I'm Matt (aka Papa Bear), based in Maidstone, Kent (UK) and ever since I was a boy I have been fascinated by armoured warfare! My love for tanks started when I was introduced to my first ever computer game - M1 Tank Platoon. I might have only been 5 years old or so, yet I still remember it like it was yesterday. From that point on I've collected books, played the games, visited the museums, collected/painted miniatures - you name it!
Skip forward a good couple of decades and I am now a proud stay-at-home parent to my 3 year old daughter (with another on the way). What better time than now to share my passion for big lumps of metal with guns on top of them! In addition the tank museum is the one place in the world you can take the kids to and they can't break anything!
So, my aim is to cover everything regarding tanks... Tanks are covered in various different platforms nowadays... Be-it, wargaming/computer games/films/books etc etc and so I hope this blog can offer something for everyone regardless of their preferred format/s.
